My daughter's Dell battery died and I did quite a bit of research and gave this battery a try. We followed the directions on charging it fully three times and so far, it has been great. We did, however, need to buy a new cord for the computer as well, as they both seemed to go at the same time. Not sure if that was a fluke or if that always happens. As long as it worked and we didn't need to purchase a new computer!!

It took about 8 charges, but it finally proved to be a decent battery. At first I was disenchanted, getting only an hour more time than my 5 year old Dell original. Now it seems to hang in there quite well. So, yes, I would buy this battery again, and I do recommend it! Perhaps I'll edit at a later date and hopefully be able to change the rating to 5 stars.
